Sephora’s Employee Appreciation

Hello hello. Welcome back my lovely. I hope you’re having a wonderful day. I just had a couple days off, but couldn’t get much relaxing done because my house is a disaster!

Anyways I’m back with a post. This post is about my small purchase from Sephora. One of my friends who works for Sephora posted that she has a code we can use to get 20% off the entire site, including sale items!

This sale ends on the 21st of October and this week is bill week for me, meaning most of my bills are due this week and the rest of it goes to savings. I decided to have a budget of $100, not a penny more to shop. So I went through my loves list. Went through the bestsellers and new arrivals. After adding everything I really wanted I went into my cart and removed everything I can wait for which left me with 2 foundations and a Sephora version of the beauty blender.

Things I purchased:

1. Too Faced|Born This Way Foundation: Sand|$39 $31.20

I’ve bought maybe a total of 5 bottles of this foundation since I’ve tried it. When I was tan I used to be the color “Honey”, but all I do is work now and I rarely ever go out into the sun (Which is really crappy) hence my skin lightening to the color “Sand.” That’s I think 2 shade difference..? Anyways, I love this foundation so much so I couldn’t pass up getting it 20% off.

2. Yves Saint Laurent|All Hours Full Coverage Matte Foundation: BD45 Warm Bisque| $58 $46.40

I heard nothing, but great things about this YSL foundation and let me tell you! I am so fucking excited to try this foundation. I think this is the first foundation that I’ve been so extremely excited to buy and test out. So this foundation states that it won’t dry, cake, flake or fade. It is transfer-proof, oil-free and non-pore clogging; these 3 is what I’m most excited about. It is a Medium to full coverage foundation with SPF 20 for all skin types and waterproof!! Like what more can you ask for in a foundation?! Be on the lookout for my personal review after a month of testing it out. I have very high hopes for this and if it works out to my expectations I would not mind dishing out $58 for it. *If you do have a bomb foundation I have to try; let me know in the comments.

3. Sephora Collection|The Perfectionist: Airbrush sponge Pink| $5 $4

Never tried anything other than a beauty blender. I’ve been wanting to try other ones see if anything a little cheaper might work the same so when I saw this in the sale section and how cheap it was; I was a little skeptical. It’s on sale, still not sold out yet; why? Maybe it sucks, but I’m going to make that decision myself. Looking to use this for baking mostly because of that sharp tip, but I will definitely try with some liquid foundation to see if it soaks up a lot of product or not.

The other 3 below are free samples with my purchase: MILK foundation, Stila all day foundation & UD Naked foundation… can’t you tell how much I love foundation?! Lol.

Last product I purchased for 100beauty points. which is a Tarte moisturizer. I haven’t been able to find a moisturizer that won’t make my skin oily, greasy or sticky! So still on the hunt for that!

Alright, thank you so much for reading my post. Please leave a comment if you have any good foundations or moisturizers that I need to try. I’m willing to try them. OK. I hope you’re having a wonderful day and I’ll see you through the screen. Aloha.

IPSY glam bags

So I’ve hit my anniversary(well its actually been 1 year & 2 months to be exact) being subscribed to IPSY. IPSY is a monthly subscription that cost a flat rate of $10. You get 5 mini-sometimes a couple full-size beauty products a month including a little pouch/bag. It is then packaged into an extremely bold pink bubble mailer. (I have to wait a little longer for mines since I live in Hawaii.) Continue reading “IPSY glam bags”
